During my time in all my job roles i have developed many skills which would be transferrable to this role.
Working closely with adults in a care setting i have enhanced my care and compassion, always striving to ensure the best for the service users. I have worked completing care plans and liaising with health professionals and family and friends.
I have developed many other skills from previous positions which would be transferable to this role from working within a care setting with individuals with mental health needs, sometimes with challenging behaviours.
In my role at the care home I support service users with
everyday tasks, appointments and social activities improving their quality of life and communication.
In my current NHS role I work alongside healthcare professionals to help achieve the best possible outcomes for the patients. I also work, amongst others, with district nurses, physiotherapists,
rapid response and admiral nurses as part of the wider teams to produce the best possible care for patients. I also did triage for virtual ward as a pilot scheme for a short while.
I have a passion for working with people and would love the opportunity to work in a client facing role as I feel that this would be where I could use my skills to really make a difference.
Working in socail care is also something I feel passionate about due to to having a close family member with serious mental health disorder who I have helped to support. Also i have helped my grandparents to access the correct support by helping to arrange care with the knowledge i have gained in my current job role as healthcare administrator, often referring to social services.
I work on multiple computer systems and also communicate daily with patients and healthcare professionals.
I have undertaken many training courses which would be relevant to this position also, and I hold all of the certificates for this, such as person centred planning, safeguarding adults, documentation and record keeping and Data protection GDPR.
I am a positive hardworking member of my team and try to always ensure the patients health and wellbeing is foremost priority and that their referrals are processed promptly in a timely manner.
I work well under pressure and in my role as support worker I have regularly had to deescalate situations within a highly emotional environment.
In my role as healthcare administrator I receive, process and send referrals to numerous relevant healthcare services in the community, including district nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and social services. I liaise daily with these professionals and also patients.

Before the pandemic I took an opportunity to open my own hair salon in the village in which I live. I developed the salon from being a small quiet salon, to a blooming business. Unfortunately due to the pandemic I ultimately had to close the business.
