The strengths that I have are that I am a positive and friendly person and I am happy to step up to any challenge that is presented to me and do the best that I can in every situation. I have a proven record of being given positions of responsibility where I need to demonstrate good communication and people skills and work as a team to deliver a good service. I have had a saturday job teaching Ballet up to grade 3. I was originally hired as an assistant but due to my work ethic and team working skills I was promoted to independently teach up to grade 3 ballet when needed. Running and assisting in a class setting required that I am a reliable employee and I pride myself on my timekeeping skills. In addition to paid work I also volunteer at my local church and have supported in a number of roles including cleaning, serving food, setting up events, leading small groups and working with a range of people from different ages and backgrounds. These are skills that would be transferable to a range of settings including retail.
