Summary

I am a highly motivated individual, excelling at self-management. I worked off-site for 5 years whilst still working for OgilvyOne UK from South Africa and was able to deliver a seamless service to the client despite location. I also took on a role, for an Australian based company, where all training and client liaison was done online and remotely and continued during Covid. I specialise in campaign management, CRM, database management, data analytics, customer onboarding and support and reporting to varying levels of management and clients. I pride myself in getting it right first time, delivering well within client deadlines and facilitating pro-active management of all tasks under my remit.

I am currently running my own business, with my husband, and am looking to return to a remote based employed role as we are looking to move back to South Africa.

Work history

Self employed owner and director

The Fleece Inn, Hillesley
Hillesley
05.2021 - 09.2025
  • On returning to the UK in April 2021, we arrived as Covid restrictions in the UK were just being lifted.
  • We had made a decision to take on a pub, as both my husband and I had been self-employed in South Africa and had previous experience in hospitality.
  • We took on The Fleece Inn in September 2021, on a 5 year lease.
  • In running the pub we are responsible for all aspects of the business – HR, marketing, stock management, staff management in terms of recruiting and training. All event planning and execution.
  • As our children have progressed through the majority of school we are looking to return to South Africa in 2026.

Freelance Customer Support Operator

Ansarada (formerly thedocyard)
01.2020 - 04.2021
  • Company Overview: Ansarada is a virtual data room used by a wide variety of clients, all over the world, to conduct transactions online in a secure environment.
  • I was recruited, initially, by thedocyard, a VDR provider based in Australia who were looking to extend their client base into Europe and the UK and so needed a UK based support team.
  • I started working with them in January 2020. My employers were based in Australia, I was based in South Africa so all training was run online via Zoom meetings. Due to the time difference I was working on my own for the majority of the time, until handing back to the Australia team once they came back online. In this role, I was responsible for supporting all clients in their use of thedocyard, onboarding clients and their respective agencies, answering support queries, helping to setup test and live VDRs.
  • This meant working with clients based, literally, anywhere in the world as all the work was carried out remotely as we were also all working over the Covid pandemic.
  • At this time, we had made the decision to return to the UK (which had been delayed due to Covid) and thedocyard was also going through a merger with a UK based company called Ansarada.
  • I joined Ansarada, for a brief time, and helped to transition thedocyard clients over to the new VDR platform and support team and left the company in April 2021 when we moved back to the UK.
