My current role is within Swetenhams Frodsham as a Mortgage Partner, prior to here, I contributed to the success at both Bebington and flagship office in Allerton Road Liverpool, and helped Bebington office achieve profit for the first time, in a number of years.

I measure my success by achieving targets and helping my colleagues achieve theirs.

  • I work with a panel of lenders offering various interest rates, incentive packages
  • Providing tailored advice on protection products through Aviva and Ageas to meet clients' specific needs.
  • It is my role to explore clients protection needs, and open up difficult discussions, to ensure they understand the importance of protection now, and also long term for them and their family- and the impact of not having it.
  • I pride myself on strong customer relationships, I help my customers from initial contact, assisting finding their dream home, this involves fact find, mortgage application, recommending suitable protection, valuation, mortgage offer, full legal process including dealing with both solicitors and estate agents throughout the whole property chain and keeping my customers fully up to date at all times.

I support newer mortgage consultants by allowing them to observe appointments and provide strategic feedback.

I assist my Estate Agency team, support coach and develop them to achieve their targets, which in turn help me achieve mine

I joined Sequence from a previous competitor in 2020, this was a step up in my career as I was given the opportunity to manage a successful team of Mortgage Consultants across the Wirral and Merseyside, and was my first management role

This role was met with success and challenges, challenges which I met head on.

A challenge being I was met with multiple resignations within my first week of starting the role, therefore I found recruitment to be a very large and key part to the job at that time.

After stabilising the team, I directed management efforts to understand each individual's motivations.

  • Coaching, developing, and listening was a large part of this role, which I relished as previously being successful in that role, I could impart my experience/ knowledge & also learn along the way to adapt my approach to management

After being successful in my role as a negotiator I was given the opportunity to become a trainee mortgage consultant within the Warrington Bridgford's office, I was given the opportunity to study previously to obtain my CeMap qualification, this was a steep learning curve but one I faced head on

  • I already understood the importance of successful relationships with Estate Agency and how that would lead to my success, having been promoted from the office recruitment was key, and I was heavily apart of interviewing for negotiators who would back fill my role and could achieve the results we desired.
