During my NYSC one-year placement at Apomu Community Primary School, I served as a primary school teacher with a range of duties and responsibilities aimed at fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment. My role encompassed the following:

• Lesson Planning and Delivery: I developed detailed lesson plans for core subjects such as English, Social Studies, Civic Education, Security Education, and Religion Studies. I ensured that each lesson was tailored to suit the varying abilities of my pupils, integrating different teaching methods such as collaborative learning, project-based activities, and interactive discussions to promote active engagement.
• Use of Diverse Teaching Methods: To cater to different learning styles, I employed various approaches including:

Visual Aids: Utilising charts, diagrams, and multimedia presentations.
Hands-On Activities: Incorporating experiments, group work, and practical tasks.
Interactive Techniques: Using questioning techniques, role-plays, and peer teaching to stimulate critical thinking and participation.

During my two-month professional placement at Government Junior College, Ketu, as part of my undergraduate programme at the University of Ibadan, I experienced a comprehensive range of duties and responsibilities typical of a classroom teacher. These included:

I designed and administered formative assessments to gauge students' understanding of the subject matter. Following these assessments, I provided constructive feedback to help learners improve their performance and encouraged them to take responsibility for their academic progress.

Monitoring Student Progress:
Regular monitoring of student progress was essential. I kept detailed records of attendance, assessment results, and behavioural observations, using this information to tailor my teaching strategies and offer additional support to those who required it.

Collaboration with Colleagues:

Experience as a Primary School Teacher at Kodac Divine School – 2-Month Professional Practice Key Responsibilities & Experiences:

During my two-month professional teaching practice at Kodac Divine School, as part of my undergraduate studies at the University of Ibadan, I gained hands-on experience in classroom instruction, student engagement, and lesson delivery.
