Multiple qualities cultivated from work in the medical field and refined through volunteering with the British neuroscience Association. Adept in communication between colleagues and have taken part in several leadership roles in which staying calm under pressure was a necessity. Customer Service :
- Gained and reinforced customer relations through consistent exceptional service. Able to effectively upsell to any customer whilst balancing their own personal needs and interests. Have personally maintained regulars due to active efforts of making them feel welcome and appreciated within the store.
Cash management :
- Responsible for counting and banking cash within the store , as well as both setting up and closing tills whilst also being able to locate and manage any discrepancies.
Furthermore, being able to make practical and logical decisions when placing stock orders by considering both par levels and sales targets.
Leadership :
- Have lead countless shifts of up to 10+ partners successfully whilst delegating both tasks and positions
efficiently. Many of which include: maintaining cleanliness of store , ensuring all positions are filled with individual strengths and weaknesses in mind, positively encouraging the team to connect with customers and managing partner breaks around peak hours ensuring constant customer satisfaction.
Pushing partner development:
- Able to efficiently manage time on shift to accommodate for staff training, this includes training new starters to expected standards as well as pushing current partners to further strengthen existing skills through one to one sessions.
Strengthening personal knowledge :
- Taken on an additional unpaid role of 'Coffee Master' having successfully completed a sign off after 5 self led courses. This role allowed for me to better my personal and fellow partners knowledge ,whilst also up-selling more efficiently by providing customers with more information in regards to our different menu options.
