I work as engineer on new AV installations and onsite support for meeting rooms/conference centres. I also support corporate events at these sites.

My main duties include;

• Conducting daily room checks and floor walks to confirm all equipment is fully operational.
• Carrying out repairs/replacement to faulty equipment
• Reading and interpreting schematics for installation and room layouts
• On-site support during call-outs and preventive maintenance visits.
• Maintaining AV supplies inventories for each room, logging repairs and replacement of faulty, damaged and obsolete equipment.
• Performed first and second fix for new AV installations.
• Providing support for video conferencing systems, including Teams and Zoom.
• Operating mixing desk and lighting during client events

I work as freelance engineer mainly on PMV projects at Universities. I also work as an onsite engineer for supporting equipment for meeting rooms at university conference centres as well as fault call outs.

My main duties include;

• PMV checks for all lecture rooms, study areas and classrooms
• Checking all Creston/Extron systems, audio, projectors and screens are working and fully functional.
• Repairing/replacement of faulty or damaged equipment
• Maintaining AV supplies inventories for each room, logging repairs and replacement of faulty, damaged and obsolete equipment.
• Operation and testing of video cameras and recording equipment
• Daily meeting room checks for events scheduled and on call support to resolve any technical issues that occur during meetings
• Video conferencing & Teams/zoom support
• Meeting with clients prior to larger events to plan and test equipment, plus any additional requirements to ensure smooth running of the event
• Working under pressure and on-call assistance during meeting and events to provide support where required

I work as crew rigging and de- rigging at arenas & festivals around the Midlands. Have worked at events such as Pearl Jam tour, 1xtra Live, BBC Music awards and Reading Festival.

My duties include;

• Installation/De-installation of sound, video and lighting equipment
• Cable connection and equipment testing
• Onsite support & technical assistance during events
• Work performed to a high standard with attention to detail
• Adapting to unfamiliar environments during events.
• Executing cable running for sound and lighting setups.
• Truss and stage construction

I worked as an engineer on EPOS rollout contracts at retail sites nationwide.

My duties included;

• Driving company van to various sites
• Deployment of new printer/tills/ PED .
• Migration and rollout of PC's, operating systems and phones at a number of client sites
• Collection and safe storage of old IT & Epos equipment
• Configuration of back office server and telecoms
• Installed new electrical wiring, cable or fibre optics for existing systems.
• Installed security and phone systems.
• Visiting 25 sites per week

I attend a number of venues around the UK to install/support AV equipment at a range of corporate client events.

My duties include;

• Installation/De-installation of sound, IT, video and lighting equipment
• Linking multiple LCD/LED screens and sound systems
• Cabling & testing
• Onsite support during event for technical issues
• Loading/Unloading equipment from truck

I worked as an engineer on the rollout of new thin client desktops at head office sites. This also included loading profiles from old machines and removal of old equipment to be decommissioned.

My duties included;

• Backing up data and profiles from old machines before removal
• Installing new machines at desk
• Testing new desktop and checking apps & profiles have migrated over correctly
• Replacing 30+ machines per day
• Decommissioning old desktops
• Resolving any teething issues from migration

I was bought in to work with the onsite IT team to support all UK offices.

My duties included;

• Providing 1st/2nd line IT/Desktop support
• Supporting Windows 7/8/10
• Administration of Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Servers
• Windows Powershell scripting for exchange and bit-locker
• Hardware support for printers and desk phones
• Cisco call manager administration, creating phone profiles
• Network and firewall monitoring using Cisco Meraki
• Configuration and setup of company mobiles
• Data Recovery

I was bought in as a service analyst to assist with migration of new till systems at M&B sites.

My duties included;

• Providing IT support for PC, till, EFT machines and printers
• Resolving incidents over phone or passing to engineer
• Visiting M&B sites to install new tills and back of house PC systems
• Following up on outstanding calls
• Administration related tasks
• Managing over 40 calls per day

I was brought in as a Service Desk analyst to provide support to the UK and international offices and assist with the migration to Windows 7.

My duties included;

• Providing telephone/remote IT Support for Eversheds UK and International offices
• Fixing incidents at first point of call or escalating to onsite Desktop Support
• Providing excellent customer service
• Logging incidents into remedy and managing personal queues
• Chasing and escalating outstanding incidents
• Administering Active Directory, Citrix and Terminal Server accounts
