Ramp Agent – Key Duties & Responsibilities
Aircraft Turnaround Support: Safely guide aircraft to and from stands, position chocks/cones, and connect ground power or air-conditioning units.
Baggage & Cargo Handling: Load, unload, and sort passenger baggage, cargo, and mail; operate belt loaders, tugs, and other ground service equipment.
Safety & Security Compliance: Conduct pre-use equipment checks, follow airside safety regulations, and report any damage or hazards to supervisors.
Operational Communication: Relay information between pilots, dispatch, and ground crews via radio/headset to ensure on-time departures.
