-Provide Medical care to patients in both acute
and ward-based settings
-Perform On-call commitments (night shifts, weekends and evening shifts) as per the SHO/RMO Rota.
-Clerking and treating patients (supervised) in Medical Ambulatory Care.
-Perform medical procedures including cannulation, venipuncture, ABGs, lumbar puncture and Arterial lines.

-Rotations in High dependency Unit, General Medical and Geriatric wards
-Doing bedside teaching and Sim-man-based teaching to medical students.

Duties

• Delivering large group lectures to between 20 and 200 medical students
• Delivering small group teaching to between 1 and 20 medical students
• Course design
• Lecture/seminar planning
• Marking assessed work
• Keeping student records of achievement
• Teaching basic clinical skills to students in Skill Lab

Duties

• Provide medical care to out-patients in an ER setting, in collaboration with nursing, medical and clinical support service team members.
• Available and on-call for emergencies as required.
• Work in accordance with guidelines and protocols used within the ER as directed by the Management Team
• Ensure documentation meets local legal requirements and acceptable professional standards
• Collect and report appropriate statistical information using the health information system (HIS) and incorporate relevant information into regular unit reports.
• Liaise as requested with local health authorities and other health providers.

Duties

• Take a detailed medical history and perform a physical examination.
• Prepare a list of differential diagnoses, working diagnoses, appropriate investigations, and a management plan.
• Seek approval from the clinical supervisor before executing the management plan.
• Follow and document the management plan, results of investigations, and any changes in the patient’s condition.
