I have been employed by Southeastern / British Rail for nearly 32 years. The start of my career begin as a train dispatcher including front line duties for professional customer service.
As my career progressed I became a Local train service coordinator at Sevenoaks which then led to a promotion on to Orpington.
This position has been my current role for 22 years. The responsibilities are to maintain exceptional leadership of the train service throughout the south east network. Excellent communication skills are a necessary within in this rule. I have shown exceptional versatility dealing with customers, train crews, signallers, staff & our London controller centre. This is a very high pressured job & accuracy is essential. This is has been a profound attribute that I have displayed thought my career.
