- Company Overview: Part of American Express Mobile Native app Devops team (Contract)
- Responsibilities include:
- 1. Ensuring key performance metrics such as SLOs and SLAs are achieved.
- 2. Ensuring bi-weekly code install goes on without any last minute hiccup. Take part in CI/CD process including Jenkins build, XLRelease and deployment using Redhat Openshift Container platform. Active monitoring of applications using Splunk dashboard, alerting and infrastructure monitoring through Grafana.
- 3. Undertake new application feature engagement process and complete them on time. This includes multiple discussions with product owners and application developers, preparing dashboards and alerting and working on ramp-up process.
- 4. Undertake Jmeter performance testing as part of new feature engagement.
- 5. Work on TLS and message signing certificate install and renewing service account IDs.
- 6. Resolve customer tickets usually involving card member concerns.
- 7. Work on traffic routing of applications across data-centres at GTM/LTM level using Akamai and in-house tools.
- 8. Resolve platform related issue including K8s and Docker container.
- 9. Manage cloud and on-prem production environments.AWS cloud products used include EKS,Cloudwatch etc.
