  • Provided Business and Functional Inputs for the implementation of Trading Hub MAST solution for detecting potential market abuse (Front Running, Insider Trading, Ramping) by HSBC traders
  • The aim of this project was to send Trade and Greek (sensitivity) data for multiple asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, FX) to a surveillance tool, which could then run various market abuse metrics on top of this data to detect potential cases of misconduct or rogue trading
  • As part of my day-to-day tasks, I analyze XMLs (FpML messages) for trade data received from multiple source systems (Sophis, Fidessa, Summit, etc) across products (cash and derivative) and then look to map them to a common pre-defined format which is accepted by the Surveillance tool
  • Good working knowledge of SQL as the job role demands pulling historic trade data and studying the pattern to resolve UAT and production queries
