- I was responsible for running and leading the research conference, maintaining order and ensured the event ran smoothly.

NHS Youth Forum
- I was able to be the voice of young people in the UK by getting involved in different events and meetings with NHS policy team.
- Working as part of the project Workforce, I was able to develop a survey to collect young people's thoughts on workforce within NHS and made report about the findings.
- delivered a presentation on the report and our findings to the NHS Policy team.
- I was able to go to Barnardo's Parliamentary reception where I had the opportunity to talk to MPs and guests about of the work I have been doing.
- Also, I had the opportunity to be an interviewer, where I was able to apply my decision making and reflection skills to give feedback and help with final decision in choosing most suitable candidate for the role.
- Throughout this experience I was able to develop strong public speaking, teamwork, and leadership skills through active engagement in meetings, group activities and events.

- I had a week placement as a teacher assistant to help Year 3 students to do a range of activities.
- I was responsible for helping the children with their work, helping the teacher to deliver the lesson, make sure that the children are safe when playing, and cleaning and making sure the classroom is tidied before and after the students arrive.
- This helped me gain communication skills, leadership skills, teamwork, responsibilities and how to deal with children of younger ages.

- I volunteered as a teacher assistant to help children aged 4-6 with a range of activities and to make sure that they are safe, I also helped by doing the register in the morning when the children arrive.
- I was also involved in cleaning the classroom and the resource rooms and making sure that everything was clean.
- I also worked in the summer camp, helping children aged 4-11 with different activities and making sure that they were on task.
- This helped me to be more confident around children and gave me a better understanding of the communication and leadership skills I need when working with younger age groups.

- I worked as a cash desk volunteer; this included me helping with selling things in the store to the customers, answering phone calls, doing online donations on the computer, and filling forms from the donors in the store.

- This made me gain better communication skills as I was communicating successfully with different people of different ages, and it helped me be part of a team and made me more responsible.

- I Volunteered as a general assistant, helping to sort out the medicine on shelves, cleaning the place, peeling off confidential information from old prescriptions.
- I am also working in the Homecare department, I have learned to dispense medicine, including preparing blisters and giving medication for patients to take later.
- This helped me to be more organized and to be more responsible, as I must be careful and check multiple times to make sure that the medication I have prepared is right.
