Managed Connectivity service consists of a suite of communication solutions using cutting edge cellular and satellite technologies. providing customers with greater visibility of remote assets such as Electricity, Gas and Water supplies in the most remote and challenging environments. Our product customers are SGN & UKPN.

Responsibilities:

• Designed and implemented a comprehensive test strategy for connectivity solutions using cellular and satellite technologies, ensuring robust and reliable monitoring of remote utility assets (electricity, gas, water) in remote and challenging environments. Tailored the strategy to address the unique needs of clients such as SGN and UKPN.
• Developed detailed test plans to cover functional, integration, performance, and regression testing, ensuring each aspect of the connectivity service met strict quality standards and provided seamless data visibility for critical infrastructure in remote locations.
• Defined testing objectives, scope, and resources within the test strategy, balancing thorough testing coverage with project timelines to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client requirements for asset monitoring and connectivity reliability.
• Conducted end-to-end application testing for connectivity solutions, ensuring reliable monitoring of remote utility assets (electricity, gas, and water) through advanced cellular and satellite technologies. Validated application performance in challenging, remote environments for clients like SGN and UKPN.
• Developed and implemented test cases and test scripts tailored to connectivity applications, focusing on functionality, performance, and compatibility across diverse hardware and network conditions, which enhanced system resilience and accuracy in asset monitoring.
• Performed rigorous functional, integration, and regression testing on connectivity applications, verifying that new features and updates met quality standards and did not impact overall system stability in real-world remote conditions.
• Collaborated closely with development, product, and network teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in connectivity applications, providing targeted testing feedback to optimize application performance and reliability in remote asset management.
• Analyzed test data and documented results, providing actionable insights to improve application functionality and ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards in remote utility monitoring.
• Ensured compatibility and interoperability of applications across different connectivity platforms (cellular, satellite), identifying and resolving issues that could affect remote visibility and monitoring capabilities for critical infrastructure assets.

Company Overview: UK based Multinational Telecommunication Company which provides energy and water services to UK energy consumers. They manage the infrastructure of 50 million data points everyday by their Smart Networks and Smart meters

Project: Smart Meter Device/Application Testing for water Meters

• Involved in Integration testing on applications
• Expertise Manual Testing (Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, Sanity Testing & UAT testing)
• Well versed with database concept and experience in using SQL statements
• Well Versed with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) including Agile Methodology
• Extensively worked on Writing Test Cases, Execute Test Cases, Logging Defects, Defect Tracking and Prioritize Defects
• Have taken sole ownership in Patch releases
