RESEARCH ON THE ENFORCEMENT NATIONAL RICE STANDARDS

Assisted a consultant to carry out a research on the Enforcement of the National Rice Standards on behalf of the Ghana Inter-professional Body (GRIB). As part of the research I conducted a survey which covered marketers in the rice value chain in five (5) markets in the Greater Accra Region.

The research sort to establish the marketers’ knowledge of the National Rice Standards and amendments required thereof (if any). Their views on the Enforcement of the National Rice Standards and their preference; i.e. between Ghana and foreign rice.
