Raff Barton-Price

I have always had a passion for technology and computers. I started coding when I was 7 using Scratch, before moving on to Python at 12. Since then, I completed work experience at Finisterre (in July 2024) with the team who manage and edit the company website, in full stack web development. This gave me a real insight into how technology works within a business.

I have always been interested in learning how to repair technology, and I own a wide range of physical computing equipment such as Raspberry Pis and Arduinos, which I love experimenting with and building projects with. On the coding side, I regularly set myself challenges, and I am currently developing a locally run app that organises a playlist to sound its best when played by DJs.

Alongside this, I love DJing and producing music. I am fascinated by the technology behind music production including plugins and sound design. I am a motivated and curious person and I am always keen to broaden my knowledge and continue to learn about technology.
