I applied to Duxbury's Garden Centre, working and running their coffee shop starting in October 2022. which they decided to close their doors of their coffee shop a year later, giving me the opportunity to work on their shop floor with a great team. On 17 October 2024, I was made redundant as the business was struggling.

In the year 2000, I applied for the role of manager of the canteen and café at Makro Preston, which gave me the responsibility of rotas.

Ordering of stock and menus. Unfortunately, the coffee shop and canteen were closed in 2008. which led me to work on the shop floor. Job roles: auditor, stock control, reception, working stock, and checkouts. until July 2022. Pulling pallets and the movement of stock on a daily basis had taken a toll on my back.

Affiliations

  • I have been a football coach/ manager of a local girls football team at Euxton football club for the past 7 years. I thoroughly enjoy my role being a hug football fan but not only this i enjoy the input i have and the impact i have on the girls coaching them from the ages of 5 up to 18. I find this role very rewarding it has taught me many skills over the years.
