Additional Information

From North Lanarkshire Challenge right though to the Gold level of Duke of Edinburgh. For the gold level the following activities I did. For my skill I did learn to swim, I had a bad experience with water the year before. However I once swam for 90mins with not getting out the water. This skill has increased my confidence, also my athletic ability has dramatically increased since learning how swim. For my physical I did Ice Skating, as I knew how to Ice Skate no learning required there. Once a week I attended a local session, where I was speeding around the ice rink. For my volunteering part, I helped organised the recycling at my school, also it helped me to gain leadership skills especially when I was one of older pupils at that point. For my expedition part of the Duke Edinburgh was exhausting I was part of a team. So teamworking really came into play. We done some of the West Highland Way. It was 4 days/ 3 nights. So everyone was exhausted, and starting to get on each others nerves. The Duke of Edinburgh and North Lanarkshire Challenge (8-24) which I started when I was still in primary school. Shows commitment and not giving up without a fight.
