Accomplishments

Alongside our small Events Team, I was recently shortlisted for the ICEN (Internal Corporate Events Network) Awards – Logistical Challenge of the Year in recognition of the planning and delivery of the SSC Liverpool End-of-Year Event. The event brought together colleagues from multiple departments to celebrate the company's achievements and successes over the year, requiring significant coordination, collaboration, and logistical planning. Although we were not the overall winners, being shortlisted was a rewarding achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication, and teamwork invested in making the event a success. It was fantastic to see our efforts recognised at an industry level and to be acknowledged for delivering an event that fostered engagement, collaboration, and celebration across the business.

Affiliations

  • Photography - I enjoy photography as a means of expression. I focus much of my photography on culture taking a keen interest in architecture, design, and fashion trends. I also have a keen interest in food photography.
  • Design - As someone with an eye for detail I have always had a fascination with design. I like to see how people express themselves with space and colour whilst keeping functionality. I find art to be most impressive when it is enacted within some boundary.

Charity Work & Community Involvement

Actively involved in charitable fundraising and volunteering, with a particular focus on PKD Charity UK (Polycystic Kidney Disease), a cause that is personally meaningful to me in memory of a loved one. Over the past 2 years, I have organised and participated in a variety of fundraising initiatives, including leading my own charity hike event and supporting multiple active fundraising campaigns, collectively raising over £2,500.

Drawing on my professional events experience, I regularly utilise my organisational and planning skills to support charitable activities and benefit the wider community. In addition, I have volunteered with Woodlands Hospice, assisting with decorating and improving care home environments, collecting donations at charity race days, and organising internal office bake sales to raise funds and awareness for important causes.
