I am a highly organised and compassionate professional with extensive experience supporting children, young people, and families within education, social care, and community settings. Throughout my career, I have developed strong coordination, administrative, and communication skills, working collaboratively with a wide range of professionals to support individuals in achieving positive outcomes.
My experience as a Family Support Practitioner and Teaching Assistant has provided me with a strong understanding of the barriers that can impact learning, engagement, wellbeing, and achievement. I am skilled in building positive relationships, managing complex information, maintaining accurate records, coordinating support plans, and working effectively with students, families, colleagues, and external agencies.
I am confident in managing competing priorities, organising schedules and appointments, maintaining detailed documentation, and providing proactive support to individuals with diverse needs. My professional and voluntary experience has strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, advocate for others, demonstrate empathy, and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Alongside my professional experience, I have volunteered as an Independent Visitor with Wiltshire Council, providing consistent support and encouragement to children in care, and supported the establishment of a new preschool, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for young children and families.
I am committed to promoting student success, wellbeing, and engagement and would welcome the opportunity to utilise my organisational, interpersonal, and support skills within a Study Coordinator role.
