• Currently undertaking a six-month Urology rotation with regular exposure to emergency urology referrals, urology ward care, outpatient activity, flexible cystoscopy clinics and theatre lists.
• Managing and assessing common urological presentations at CT1 level, including renal colic, obstructed infected systems, urinary retention, haematuria, catheter problems, nephrostomy issues and acute scrotal presentations.
• Developing procedural and operative experience in catheterisation, difficult catheterisation, rigid and flexible cystoscopy, ureteric stenting, bladder biopsy/TURBT pathways, circumcision and scrotal procedures under senior supervision.
• Participating in endourology and emergency theatre lists, with growing familiarity with cystoscopic anatomy, ureteric access, retrograde studies, stent insertion principles, post-operative plans and discharge counselling.
• Building evidence for Urology specialty training through logbook activity, WBA assessments, reflective practice, audit and supervised progression in technical skills.

• Completed a six-month General Surgery rotation with responsibility for surgical ward rounds, day-to-day inpatient management, discharge planning, acute reviews and escalation of deteriorating patients
• Worked within the colorectal team, contributing to peri-operative planning and post-operative care for colorectal patients, including complex inpatient pathways and complication management
• Actively participated in theatre and developed basic operative skills through supervised involvement in general surgical procedures including hernia repairs, incision and drainage procedures, lipoma / cyst excision, and appendectomies
• Assisted in more complex abdominal and colorectal operations including anterior resections, right hemicolectomies and other laparoscopic/open colorectal cases, gaining experience in operative flow, anatomy and safe assistance.
• Gained outpatient and day-case procedural exposure including haemorrhoidectomy, haemorrhoid banding, polyp excision and skin tag removal, with increasing understanding of patient selection, consent, operative steps and post-procedure advice.

Engaged in diverse clinical responsibilities, primarily as a Trauma and Orthopaedic Senior House Officer, contributing to:

• Advanced fracture management techniques
• Plastering and casting and wound dressing management
• Joint aspiration and injections
• Interpretation of imaging studies (X-rays, CT scans, MRI)
• Pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including High Dependency Unit (HDU) level care
