• I worked as a cable and fibre technician I thoroughly enjoyed my role but unfortunately due to the company losing a contract I was let go from my position my role included the below.
• Troubleshot and repaired cable signal issues by replacing faulty cables, power supplies and associated equipment.
• Serviced telecommunications equipment to maintain good working order and function.
• Communicated complex technical concepts to non-technical consumers clearly and concisely for improved understanding.
• Adhered to industry regulations to maintain compliant health and safety practices.
• Evaluated consumer services and equipment to enable optimised use and functionality.
• Connected, disconnected and relocated cables for high-functioning telecom provisions.
• Responded quickly to customer complaints, providing positive solutions to maintain satisfaction.
• Drove company vehicles responsibly to best maintain company image and uphold safety compliance.
• Fitted cable structures securely according to telephone poles and underground duct networks.

I have worked on numerous shut downs over the years in between my other jobs when local shutdowns were on my roles included

• Disposed of hazardous materials safely in line with COSHH.
• Minimised accidents and incidents by maintaining health and safety procedures.
• Prep work and sandblasting

I worked as a PSV driver and really enjoyed this my role included doing a daily school run with children who had special needs. I would also do other work taking passengers on day trips and out of town.
