Since leaving school, I have always been in work. Most of my career has been supporting high profile youth offenders and young people with mental health problems and challenging behaviours.
I started my Ju-Jitsu career at the age of twenty five under the direction of Soke Robert Clarke and Soke James Blundell in Liverpool. This lead me to become an instructor myself and at the age of Twenty eight I opened my own Ju-Jitsu club in Manchester and this led me to open further clubs within the Manchester area. Leading to international recognition and a club was opened in Gibraltar.
As well as being a chief instructor of Ju-Jitsu, I have also been involved in training mental nurses and teaching instructors for the SIA and prison service in the management of violence and aggression.
