Evelyn Partners are a integrated wealth management and professional services group, that provide a range of services for personal (B2C) and business (B2B) clients.
Joined Tilney Smith & Williamson in February 2022 as a contractor for their website rebrand to Evelyn Partners. Leveraging my extensive knowledge in website development, UX, and SEO, I successfully launched a fully optimised website within 8 months. This led to a permanent role.
- Day-to-day management of Evelyn Partners 5 website (including Bestinvest).
- Providing support on Digital Marketing campaigns through the creation of landing pages, commercially driven calculators, and publishing of other media assets (podcasts, videos).
- ISA calculator - Worked with the product and content team to build a new ISA calculator for Bestinvest. The new calculator was aimed at increasing our organic traffic reach and targeting audiences who are interested in opening an ISA. Since launching, we are getting over 200 visits a month and have a conversion rate of 4%.
- Increased organic traffic on Evelyn Partners website by 8% through the implementation of new Schemas, clean-up of the redirect file and working with developers to fix speed related issues. The increase in traffic was due to an increase in our core website vitals which were increased from 35% to 98% on mobile and on Desktop by 60% to 95%.
- Being the first point of contact for all website queries, providing technical support to other CMS users.
- Providing regular reporting to stakeholders on campaign performance using Umbraco CMS platform.
- Sourcing imagery for campaigns and other appropriate assets for campaigns
- Liaising with Developers and external agencies to build new website features aimed at improving user experience and overall conversion rate.
- Frequent testing and deploy new components and features that are developed on UAT before launching them to our website.
- Working with the Financial Promotions team to ensure all content published on our websites are fully compliant.
- Exploring new lead generation methods like pop-ups and banners created with 'Get Site Control' to promote upcoming webinars and events. Tracking key metrics like clicks, downloads, and impressions to measure the effectiveness of these campaigns.
- Working closely with the brand/UX team to develop a suite of responsive designs for landing pages using Figma, Mira board, Browserstack and forms for automated campaigns that aligned to digital brand guidelines and standards.
- Working with cross functional teams such as Investment copywriters, Tax team, Compliance and Content designers to ensure that articles and service pages are uploaded to our website and display the content to generate results and delivery campaigns online with support from Marketing Managers.
- Conducting regular website audits using tools such as SemRush, Google Lighthouse and Screaming Frog to check site health and ensuring we are performing against our KPIs.
- Working with the Head of Digital Services to identify and action further website optimisation opportunities SEO improvements.
- Utilising tools such as Hotjar to gather and review website feedback from clients and prospects, using this as an opportunity to identity further website improvements.
