Project Description: Our project goal is to gather data from various sources, dump it into a data warehouse whenever the necessary conditions are met, then create dashboards in PowerBI Desktop and share them with the Azure cloud using Data Management Gateway.

Responsibilities:

• Deployed web embedded Power BI dashboards refreshed using gateways by using workspace and data source.
• Developed operational, analytical dashboards and data visualization reports using Power BI
• Worked with DAX queries to modify data and add new columns and measure. Worked with various transformations in the Power BI query editor.
• Involved in ETL processes, Data warehousing methodologies and concepts including star schemas, snowflake schemas, dimensional modeling and reporting tools, Operations Data Store concepts, Data Mart and OLAP technologies
• Designed and built several dashboards involving KPIs and trend charts comparing cumulative vs actual values to depict the client's overall business needs.
• Import data from SQL Server databases and Analysis services into power pivot data model.
• Involved in working with SSAS in creating data sources, data source views, named queries, cubes, roles, calculated columns, dimensions and deploying of analysis services projects.
• Worked on Tableau and Power BI to create visualization reports from both relational and multi-dimensional data as source.
• Designed SSIS Packages in SQL Server to handle data migration (ETL Processes) from transaction System to Dimensional Model.
• Used SSRS reports are used for creating Dashboards, drilldown reports, Scorecards. Created various Excel reports using drop downs and v-lookups connected to the SQL server.
• Provide analytics and decision support to stakeholders across the organization. Partner closely with internal stakeholders to deep dive into the data to provide actionable insight.
• Worked on Azure cloud in spinning of new resources under resource group. Worked on Azure Data factory to load the data from on premise to Azure Data Lake.
• Worked on the architecture of SQL Server, Synapse, and Azure Data Factory in its entity. Data lakes, ADF, Azure Blob Storage, and pipelines for transferring data have all been put up on the Azure platform. You may automate data flow by creating workflows with ADF.
• Secured the Power BI reports using Row Level Security (RLS) and DAX filters.
• Implemented a one-time data migration of multistate level data from SQL Server to Snowflake using Python and Snow SQL.
• Used a variety of tools for development and documentation, such as Confluence for all project-related documents, JIRA for daily development chores, and QC for defect management.
• Worked on Agile process with backlogs and story points who participate in daily scrum meetings

Responsibilities:

• Have experience working on BI projects at all stages, including requirements gathering, logical design, physical design, implementation, testing, and deployment, as well as maintenance and support.
• Experience on using Report Designer and Report Builder in Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2008/2005 Reporting Services (SSRS), good report design skills.
• Good knowledge on Data Modelling and Data Mining to model the data as per business requirements.
• Worked on SSIS packages have been created to extract, transform, and load (ETL) current data from various environments into SQL Server for the SSAS cubes. Email alerts configured for failed completion of scheduled jobs
• Worked on data visualization and data analysis using Power BI Worked on platforms like Azure SQL employing existing algorithm that is based on historical trends.
