Key Responsibilities:

• Laboratory Preparation & Maintenance Set up and clear away laboratory equipment and materials daily, ensuring all resources are available for interns students
  -Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Equipment & Material Management: Prepare and test new experiments and demonstrations as requested by CEO
  -Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on lab instruments and equipment.
  Maintain an inventory of laboratory assets, order necessary supplies, and manage stock control.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Conduct risk assessments for all laboratory materials and equipment.
  -Assist staff in developing risk assessments for practical work and open days.
  -Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals and biological materials following regulatory guidelines.
• Technical & Practical Support: Assist new employees, intern students, and PHD researchers in laboratory sessions by providing technical support and guidance.
  -Supervise laboratory activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Record-Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of experiments, equipment servicing, and laboratory activities.
  -Report any defects, damages, or safety concerns to the head.
  -Participate in laboratory audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
• Professional Development & Collaboration: Attend training sessions, workshops, conferences, and departmental meetings to stay updated on laboratory and R&D best practices.
  Collaborate with academic staff and researchers to support ongoing scientific projects.
• Distilled large amounts of information and produced reports, spreadsheets, and documents outlining key details.
• Participated in research projects by designing and executing experiments.
• Prepared reagents and solutions following standard laboratory formulas and procedures.
