SUMMARY: Worked with clients in the UK, USA, Switzerland, Canada & India to augment their IT resource capability by setting up their own captive development centre in India and/or engaging with a vendor relationship. Connected clients with trusted relationships in India for IT resource, HR, Accounts, Finance, Legal and the Government. Where clients have existing relationships with IT centres, provided due diligence and a quality assurance service on their behalf to ensure the services are cost-effective and fit for purpose. Architecting for clients, tailored solutions for change and transformation, thereby bridging the transnational gap.

HIGHLIGHTS: Convinced major clients including intergovernmental organizations for Sword Group [UK, Canada, Switzerland, USA and India] to grant long-term project and service relationships to Sword. This included, for a while: (i) the largest client within Sword Group; (ii) a major UK insurance company & (iii) partnership with a major American technology company. I fostered the client relationships, renewing the contracts year-on-year and managed the successful delivery of the software projects using offshore resource in India as well as on-site resources at client sites. I quality assured all deliveries and ensured client retention with optimal productivity and cost effectiveness.

CLIENTS: Successfully set up and managed captive hybrid offshore development centre in India (2023) for Flexiti Financial Inc., Canada. Depth of technical expertise, knowledge of IT development methodologies and experience re: Accounting, Legal and HR practices were key to the successful implementation of client operation in India. Client now has access to a valuable pool of highly skilled resource to value add to their IT department, saving money and increasing productivity. I used trusted & reliable connections and contacts throughout India; all proved invaluable to set-up the Indian centre.
