• I have experienced active involvement in diagnosing , planning , surgical treatments and recovery of patients suffering various conditions such as bowels obstruction, pancreatitis, appendicitis , cholecystitis etc while working at Acute surgical ward and surgical assessment unit.
• Apart from general surgery my current workplace also accommodates urology and gynae patients.
• Dealing with stomas, IR drains , NG tubes , simple to complex dressings , post-op pain management , early mobilization are examples of particular measures of patient care where i am actively involved.
• Worked closely with fellow nurses, doctors and clinicians for consistent communication and continued best care practices.
• Monitored and recorded patient condition, carrying out and reporting regular observations.
• Provided emotional support to patients' families during tough times especially in case of patients undergoing palliative input.
• Upheld patient trust and confidentiality by managing information with discretion, in accordance with data protection laws.
• Complied strictly with infection control protocols, preventing cross-contamination in the ward.

I worked at Cardio Thoracic and Vascular surgery department.

*dealt with post op. patients of mostly CABG and septal defects of heart.Apart from bed side care and observation monitoring i learnt handling of arterial lines and close monitoring of electrolytes as well as intake output of fluid.
