Phoenix Finlay

Soham,cambridgeshire

Summary

My name is Phoenix Finlay, and I am a dedicated student at Cambridge Regional College with a passion for engineering and design technology. I actively participate in the Robotics Club, where I indulge in my love for machinery and technology. And since joining the Young Carers Club, it has helped me to hone my social and communication skills. I have practical experience through personal projects, such as building a wooden pergola and working on a jet RC model. My dyslexia has enhanced my problem-solving and creative skills. I am eager to further my education and career in engineering while bringing good customer service, bringing a mix of hands-on skills, responsibility, and a willingness to grow. I worked at Tesco in the produce department during the Christmas holidays, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced retail environment. Developed strong customer service skills and learned to manage customer demands during one of the busiest periods of the year for a store. Demonstrated, teamwork, and attention to detail while maintaining quality and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.
