  • I currently work in VCP (compounding) in a varied and challenging role as a process operator.
  • As a process operator it is my job to ensure the safe production, quality control and packaging of several different compounds that we make in VCP.
  • As one of the most experienced operators I feel comfortable passing my knowledge and experience on to the newer members of the team to ensure standards do not drop.
  • I always strive for the best standards in operations, organisation and my attention for detail is something I’m proud of.
  • For the last 2 years I have been deputising for the team leader role.
  • My duties in this role were delivering team meetings where we would discuss Safety, Quality, Production, Engineering and Cost, ensuring all the Raw materials were ordered from the warehouse using dynamics AX to make sure they are readily available for the operators, updating Excel documents with daily production figures and waste management, completing continuous improvement projects from ideas I have relayed to management and using my experience to help operators in situations where they may not have the answers.

  • I have been doing the GMB union representative role for over a year now and thoroughly enjoy the challenges that comes with the role
