Accomplishments

  • Supervised team of 73 staff members spanning the South Eastern Region of the country Nigeria. This team is multicultural and multi-religious , I acted in the capacity of the Cluster Team lead.
  • Documented and resolved problems that were recurrent in the fleet of ATMs in my area of coverage by initiating a project for the problem and was able to identify using root-cause analysis what was the real issue, this led to savings on downtime to the tune of £300,000.
  • Collaborated with team of nine other functional departments in the development of the "train the champions" project, which saw us training 200 tech-savvy staff nationwide to serve as key persons in small clusters for effective trouble shooting and Issues resolution.
  • Achieved the departments Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) Documentation review by completing the document with a team of 4 other persons with accuracy and efficiency. This document was vetted by the Audit, Internal control, Information security and Compliance management departments before final approval.
  • Used Microsoft Excel to develop inventory tracking spreadsheets for all IT infrastructure within the Bank.
  • Was responsible for the rollout and final deployment phases of more than 75 process improvement and IT projects, patch deployment and information security projects to a user community of more than 500 staff and an IT infrastructure fleet of more than 1000 ( systems, ATMs, networking, peripherals etc) during my time with the bank.
  • Was a resource person for project management training for staff in various departments , and coached more than 50 persons on implementation of agile and waterfall project management techniques in their projects.
