Working as Quality Analyst running the EN17025 test laboratory ensuring that all equipment is routinely calibrated and conducting of product testing which include Flame non-transmission testing of Oil and Gas and Material Handling equipment, Thermal rise, nR testing ,EMC and Impact testing.

I use current and various editions of EN/Atex standards of which are:

EN1755:2015, EN60079,, EN18463 and Atex standard 1834 to compile in depth test instructions and detailed technical test reports for submission to applications engineers and external Notified bodies for Audit purposes and product compliance.

All test information is recorded in registers of which I am responsible for the maintenence of.

I have good knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and use the practises from these in my daily work.

I lease and work closely daily with the engineering teams to provide test plans and schedules reporting back with updates on all testing results.

I also have experience of EMC testing on Materials Handling equipment.

I can competently train others for all roles detailed in my day to day activities.

Responsible for the in-process and end of line inspections on Materials handling equipment ensuring that the vehicles have been converted to the correct quality specifications that the customer has requested before despatch.

Creating documentation for sending with the equipmnent including Declaration of conformance and compliance paperwork and identification labels for traceability.

This role required the use of EN standards to inspect the eqiuipment as sections are used to form parts of the checklists used.

Carry out in depth inspections of customers product for use in the business using technical drawings and various measuring equipment .

Raising Non conformance notes.

Conducting in house audits on departments and procedures.

Training of others in the inspection processes.

Booking goods in deliveries into the purchase order system .

Picking of parts and producing shortages lists to help form the kits for fitters to convert the Materials handling equipment.

Carry out regular stock checks.

Despatch work sending out spare parts to customers

Unloading, loading of lorries.
