On completion of commando training I served in 45 Commando as a General Duties rifleman. I deployed on a live firing exercise in the United States, followed by an arduous winter mountain training in Scotland. I then completed a jungle training package in Belize and deployed to Kosovo on Operation Agricola a NATO led tour of duty. I was then drafted to RM Stonehouse as part of the Security Troop.
