Glengarnock,Ayrshire

Summary

In June of 2011 I started an apprenticeship at J&D Pierce and by May 2015 I had successfully became a fully qualified and coded welder. I gained vital experience in my chosen field as well as in multiple avenues within the industry. I also gained experience in the social spectrum which allowed me to build upon communication skills whilst working in a team lead environment. From January 2023 until January 2025 I lived in Australia where I not only travelled extensively but also gained experience in different fields and professions. Whilst mostly based in Melbourne where I worked as a labourer in many building sites in and around the city, I also found employment up and down the East coast. I feel as if I learned many skills both for future employment and in every day life. They are experiences that shaped me into who I am today. It is a time in my life that has forever effected my work ethic and strengthened my resolve as an employee. In my free time I have also offered up my skills in unpaid volunteer work. Not only has this kind of work gave me invaluable experience it has also allowed me to pursue my passions for heritage and conservation. I hope to one day put these skills to good use which will further my aspirations and future career prospects.
