  • Due to the difficulties encountered during Covid lock downs, PRP & Son Developments Ltd was activated to provide project management services to various companies such as Brocks Ground engineering, Apex Property Holdings Ltd, Apex Platinum Investments Ltd, Aveley Lake Holdings Ltd to oversee and manage various construction projects from 2020 to present.


Responsibilities:

· Identify scope of works from ER's and pricing schedules with estimating team.

· Negotiated contracts with suppliers for cost-effective procurement of resources.

  • Produce detailed works programmes to achieve business objectives on time and within budget constraints.
  • Led prestart contractor meetings to ensure that any scope gaps are covered.

Works: Contracted to undertake construction of new Football stadium within the flood reservoir, Anglian water Sewer diversion, Relocation of Flood Barrier, Earthworks removal, Groundworks including Piling


Project involved complex strategies to achieve commencement of main works under jurisdiction of environment agency/Local Authority, where as main point of contact relationships were built between all parties to meet their requirements.

Assisting in signing off of planning conditions with local authority to commence construction.

New stadium design required construction of steel frame – Masonry and clad structure with block and beam floors founded on suspended ground beams supported by pre-cast driven piles to depth of approx. 17m within Tilbury Flood reservoir.

Established works plans for sensitive soft strip of 17th century 6 bedroom residential house for refurbishment and change of use.


Redevelopment of 2.5 Acre commercial site included refurbishment, structural alterations and over cladding to existing commercial Units and Offices, inline with new tenants requirements for their business as car Sales and repairs for LMC Cars.

Works: 8 Acre site Obtained on long term lease directly with landowner and APHL, previously utilised as aggregate processing facility by Tarmac


Cleared by landowner to slab level revealed varying ground levels plus or minus 2m across 8 acre site, APHL undertook cut and fill works along with installation of future services and resurfacing to 4 acres to north with repair work to existing slabs to south creating self draining hard standing across entire site for HGV Parking and container storage.

Project: Unit 53 Globe Ind Estate - Phase 1 Demolition

Interim Insurance Payment : £81K

Works: Due to catastrophic structural failure to 15,000 sq foot warehouse following major fire, working directly with the insurance loss adjusters, agreement to demolish main warehouse and surrounding structures granted.

Project: Unit 53C, Globe Industrial Estate, Grays

Interim Insurance Payment : £120K

Due to the fire damaged caused to an adjacent unit it was agreed to be structurally unsound and was replaced with a new structure where my services were further required to see the project through to completion of new 2300 sq ft warehouse with redevelopment of the main site ongoing with planning approval.

Contract Value: £2m Duration: 52 Weeks

Works: 5 Acre site consisted of 12 Commercial Units ranging from 2000 sq ft - 5000 sq ft requiring complete upgrade to all commercial units, including renovation of two residential semi-detached cottages, new access roads and services to Highways standard.

  • Management of the Development & re-engineering of existing commercial estate and residential housing.
  • Cut & Fill to maximise the commercial potential for hard standing and formation of site access roads.
  • Stripping back of existing commercial units to structural framework and re-cladding with composite panelling and roofing.
  • Erect replacement steel framed commercial unit and cladding incorporating new services
  • Internal Fit out of offices and welfare facilities
  • Installation of mezzanine flooring to create two storey offices within the existing structural framework.
  • Dealing direct with UKPN Power upgrades to the sub-station
  • Identifying and implementing Operative Training requirements.
