New stadium design required construction of steel frame – Masonry and clad structure with block and beam floors founded on suspended ground beams supported by pre-cast driven piles to depth of approx. 17m within Tilbury Flood reservoir.

Cleared by landowner to slab level revealed varying ground levels plus or minus 2m across 8 acre site, APHL undertook cut and fill works along with installation of future services and resurfacing to 4 acres to north with repair work to existing slabs to south creating self draining hard standing across entire site for HGV Parking and container storage.
