PDI and JOSAM (laser-aided wheel alignment system). Checking to ensure the bus is safe to go on the road. ABS test, and rolling road brake test. Checking for leaks in the pneumatic system of the bus with a detector. Axle build, assembly of axle components. i.e. suspension beams and electronic brake retarder (has to be shimmed). Axle fitting: Fitting of axles to buses (including pneumatic connection). Engine fitting. Fitting of engine pack to bus. IncGeneral knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
