I have overseen the growth of our Team of engineers from 12 in 2019, to a Team of 75 engineers at present (forecast to increase to 100 engineers by mid-2026).   • Worked as part of a Team who Investigated the theft of gas and electric, through tampering of meters and supplies.
  • Developed comprehensive understanding of various techniques utilised for gas and electric extraction.
  • Utilised exceptional de-escalation skills on site when encountering hostility
  • We used an early AI system called TRAS, which took data from readings and highlighted anomalies in expected energy usage, which we then attended site to fully investigate.
  • Ensured all Health & Safety requirements were met when TV camera crews and printed media attending sites with us.
  • Attended Court to apply for Right of Entry Warrants

  • - Installing Gas and Electric Smart Meters in customers homes.
  • - This was the initial time of fitting 1st Generation Smart Meters in the UK, I specialized in comms hub faults, and was responsible for the Smart function of meters to be operating correctly in my area. This involved attending Courses & Seminars on Smart Communication, how the system worked, and involved me working closely with Meter manufacturers to better understand improvements required in Smart Meters.
