Due a business restructure the previous company was morphed into StageGear leaving behind the previous director structure. My role includes running the business, over seeing employees, project management and technical services.
I set up the Sound & Light Company in 2003 with a Business Partner, using skills, contacts and knowledge from my previous career and hobby choices. This was an era of start up web shops and the use of the internet allowed us to trade across the UK as well as Renting equipment across the Island, coupled with Installation Projects and Service Call works to Education, Business, Retails and Hospitality industries.
As one of the Managing Directors my job role was to build sales and look after day to day enquiries to build a future career within the industry I had spent so much time in since leaving school.
I took the position at AC Lighting due to business issues at StageTec and the financial position of StageTec was causing salary payment issues.
Again Employed to advise and sell Professional Audio, Lighting, Video and Special effects products to the TV and Entertainment Industries, but also I was tasked with bringing Audio Sales to what was predominantly a Lighting company.
With my Audio knowledge I was also involved with Project works and system design for Theatre and Education.
This was an office based position dealing with web site and telephone enquires and ensuring that customer needs and expectations were met similar to my role at StageTec.

Due to commuting challenges for my previous role, I was offered this position with a view of moving to their sales team.
As a business owner I have many skills to offer, not only dealing with staff and customers, but also a technical knowledge of a wide base of products which now includes an element of IT skills as technology within the Pro Audio industry has become App based and Laptop reliant
