  • I started work at 16 as an apprentice of Carpentry & Joinery I completed my apprenticeship in 1977 with a City & Guilds Craft Certificate passed with Credit. I went back to Tottenham Collage for a further year to do City & Guilds Advanced Certificate in Carpentry & Purpose made Joinery and completed this with 2 passes and 1 credit.
  • I am also the holder of a Construction Skills Certification Scheme Gold card Reg. No. 4030226

I stayed with the Company, D Burkle & Sons for a total of 8 years at which time I was made redundant, I then made the decision to go self employed as a Sole Trader.

  • I work in peoples houses primarily based on recommendation. I also do a variety of work, short & long term for small building companies.
  • I am competent in 1st & 2nd fix and construction Carpentry, fitted kitchens/ furniture.
  • I have and am happy to work alongside other trades I have knowledge of their requirements and have at time overseen the organisation of small sites primarily in unoccupied & occupied houses.
  • I have always been trusted with keys & alarm codes etc etc.
  • I am competent in using hand held power tools and lightweight bench/ table mounted power tools.
