I am a postgraduate student with an academic background in engineering, building performance, structural analysis and environmental design. Through my undergraduate and master’s studies, I have developed a strong foundation in engineering principles, data analysis, technical modelling and research-based problem solving. My academic experience includes structural modelling, building simulation, renewable energy systems, environmental assessment and project management.
I am proficient in using a range of professional software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MATLAB, AutoCAD, SAP2000 and IES-VE. I have applied these tools in academic projects involving report writing, numerical analysis, technical drawing, structural modelling and building performance simulation. I am also familiar with research methods, literature review, data collection and technical report preparation.
I am a motivated and adaptable learner with strong attention to detail and a willingness to develop practical engineering and research skills further. I am particularly interested in sustainable design, environmental engineering, building performance, structural systems and renewable energy applications.
I assisted the professor in completing the SOP for the kg (scale with new buffer system) experiment, meticulously recording data at each step and offering my own insights. During the data analysis phase, I summarized fundamental patterns and provided them to the professor. Because it was a domestic and international company, I also served as a translator, translating the foreign professor's experimental procedures and operational processes into Chinese to facilitate communication within the team and foster closer collaboration. This experience enhanced my ability to connect with the team and improve communication.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in document preparation, data organisation, report formatting and presentation development Skilled in using engineering and design software such as MATLAB, AutoCAD, SAP2000 and IES-VE for data analysis, structural modelling, building simulation and technical drawing Familiar with commonly used academic, engineering and research software for coursework, modelling, analysis and project reporting
