Peace Adekanye

Second year Computer Science student specialising in Cybersecurity, with a strong interest in network security, data protection, vulnerability assessment and incident response. Currently developing practical and technical skills through my studies, including programming in python and Java, networking using Cisco Packet Tracer and hands on learning using Cisco Networking Academy and Codio, also currently learning C and C++. i have successfully completed my GCSEs and i also passed my level 3 Certificate in uniformed Services, further developing my discipline, teamwork, leadership and ability to work effectively in challenging situations.

I am a quick learner who enjoys developing new skills and applying knowledge to practical problems. i have strong communication skills and work well both independently and as part of a team. i remain calm under pressure, approach challenges positively and am always willing to support others. My experience as a crew trainer at mcdonalds has further strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, coach others and take responsibility. i now looking to build on my technical and interpersonal skills through work experience (placement year) and opportunities within cybersercurity or wider technology focused roles.
