  • Company Overview: Lead Logistics Provider
  • As Financial Controller, I managed key customer accounts for LLP. This included working with international teams and directly managing a team in Turkey, leading daily calls to prioritise work, and set clear objectives to provide focus and direction.
  • I developed reporting and KPIs to track progress and to share updates with higher management. This led me to drastically improve the number of due invoices to around 200 from 1,300.
  • I worked with the Suppliers to provide updates and reassurance to improve strained relationship we had with them due to their invoices not being paid on time. This required liaising with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure invoices were approved and then released for payment.
  • I was the main accounting contact and managed several cost centres. This included working with the Directors of the areas to set budgets and then complete month end accounts and provide detailed commentaries and analysis of the results. This included ensuring the correct accounting treatment was applied for Revenue accounting and ensuring other accounting standards were followed.
