I bring a proactive, organised and light-hearted approach to working, my main strengths are being able to think ahead, put systems in place that help efficiency and my calmness in stressful situations. I'm an asset to any team I join because of my understanding and knowledge of people and a workplace.
I'm active, flexible and ready to commit to a role where I can share my experience, skills and work ethic to a team and I provides reliability and a consistency.
Working as a head of kitchen for 13 years I have extensive experience in management and in people development. In my previous role I lead and oversaw all aspects of running a kitchen - these included
Stock control - making sure we had enough supplies for the job and making sure we managed our waste, also creating high quality off food standard and creating new meals for residents to try and making changes accordingly.
Supervising kitchen staff - creating and maintaining a high standard of working, cleaning and making sure food safety and quality was what it needed to be. Ensuring all COSHH laws are followed and taught correctly.
Creating staff rota's - managing all staff rota's, holidays and time off to create a good work life balance.
I have enjoyed every minute of working in a kitchen and I am now looking forward to using my skills as a kitchen assistant. My favourite part of working in a kitchen is being able to use my people skills and work within a team
