I rented Englands Glory from a pub company therefore everything was my responsibility.

I handed the pub back due to unreasonable rent and product price increases and the pub company wanted to do refurbishments and expected me to pay towards this.

Charity shop manager

Longfield
Gloucester, Gloucestershire
06.2006 - 02.2019

I started working for longfield as a volunteer then was offered position of manager in 3 of their shops.

This position involved working closely with the retail manager to achieve targets.

The day to day running of the shops was my responsibility. This included sorting and maintaining stock levels, recruiting volunteers, managing staff and doing rotas.

This was a challenging job but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I only left as I had the once in a lifetime chance to take on my own pub.
