- Theatre: I have a passion for musical theatre, with many years’ experience in amateur dramatics and I enjoy playing the piano for pleasure
Family: My family is very important to me and I love spending time with family and friends

I am an experienced and highly responsible education and performing arts professional with over 35 years’ experience working with children and young people, including 17 years as Head of Performing Arts in a Prep School. Alongside a long and successful career in education, I have 12 years’ professional experience as a chaperone and head chaperone for UK Productions' pantomimes in Bath, with responsibility for the care, supervision and welfare of the juvenile performers (2005-2013). I regularly support Bath Theatre School with its productions, working closely with young performers.
I am calm, approachable and highly in tune with the individual needs of children, with a strong understanding of safeguarding, pastoral care and professional boundaries and the importance of creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment. I am confident communicating with children, parents, colleagues, both independently and as part of a wider team and experienced in managing responsibility calmly and professionally in busy, fast-paced environments. Recent experience shadowing the chaperone team on The Lion King has further strengthened my desire to return to pursue professional theatrical chaperoning. I am passionate about creating a positive experience for young performers, ensuring they feel safe, supported and valued, whilst enabling them to thrive within a production environment.
