Working in Share Skipton gave me an opportunity to broaden my horizons and get out of my comfort zone. I work as a 'librarian,' where I check out the items that customers borrow and return, this means I have first - hand experience with customer service, where I talk with people face to face. What my volunteer job entails is me proof checking the items, organizing the shop and promoting the shop and other events the company holds.
Volunteering with Bradford City of Culture 2025 allowed me to participate in a vast array of events. For example, I helped as a coordinator for The Railway Children performance in Oxenhope. I also organized stalls aimed at young adults to toddlers. I also worked flexible hours, covering nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Salt Pots was my very first work experience, and it really helped me bring up my confidence in the work field. I helped out with the customers, like giving them instructions and sometimes even helping with finance. I cleaned around the shop, made food and drinks for the customers and gained a massive experience with customer service.
I have a vast array of skills, my skills are as follows:
I was awarded the Further Education Award in Craven College.
