Volunteer

Starting in 1993 I became a committee member at Kidderminster Harriers Vice President's Club of which my first duties were working on the clubs bar and organising staff to help, opening and making sure all stock was ok for the evening, checking till float had been left correct from previous evening, then cashing up, cleaning up, paying staff, setting alarms and locking up.

Then became membership secretary ensuring all members were informed of upcoming events and also when membership needed renewal, also taking new memberships which included taking and documenting monies and receipts for proof.

This was done unpaid the only perk was not paying on game day mainly because we worked and If lucky got to see some of the game.

I finished in 2000 when the Football club went full time and the club hired a steward to run the bar.
