Working nightshift at JP Morgan in the city centre, everyone was allocated a floor they had to do on their own, clean all the toilets, kitchen areas and office areas. Also before the end of the shift, everyone is sent to the ground floor to clean all the floors, and surfaces, glass, and around the security desk. Mops and buckets, hoovers, dusting equipment and cleaning chemicals are used every day. Different colour cloths for different areas must be used, for example yellow is for the kitchen, blue is for the office, and red is for the toilet. When you have finished your floor, you take the elevator down with your rubbish bags (food and general waste are kept apart), to the bins.

As a nightshift cleaner, my main duties were cleaning all the toilets inside, wiping all the surfaces, mopping all the edges of the floor and the entrances to all the shops, then using a buffer machine to finish the middle of the floor. After that was done, went outside with a litter picker and picked up any rubbish inside the bus station where the customers are seated, and the perimeter of the building outside, mainly for the used cigarettes. Cleaning of all the glass at every bus stand, and seats and railings, was also required.

Clean stadium surfaces before and after football matches as routine duties.
Wipe all fan seats with wet cloth and bucket water before kick-off.
Set up perimeter fencing to keep supporters away from team bus entries.
Allocate staff into match-day zones for each assigned area of responsibility.
Clear concourses of litter, food debris, and toilet waste through full matches.
Store away perimeter fencing immediately after final whistle.
Pick up empty cups and food behind each row across the stands for 1-2 days.
Repeat stand-by-stand rubbish removal until full stadium cleaning is complete.
Use litter pickers on pitch and around superstore for thorough edge clearance.
Complete internal and external stadium cleaning across 3-4 days per event.
