Quality assurance specialist tasked with the management of Loss Control activities, Hydrocarbon Accounting and the reduction of water content of produced crude oil from all company owned wells in the OML 29 oil field via the Nembe Creek Trunk Line to Shell Bonny Oil and Gas Terminal. I built and maintained power relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders which improved stakeholder participation in the business. I also worked cross-functionally with other departments thereby improving project quality and delivery times.

• Improved the logistics process of transporting produced crude oil by implementing alternative cost effective means of transporting produced crude oil which reduced the theft of produced crude oil from company owed wells.
• Extensive use of Microsoft Excel in data analysis, management and visualization of gross/net produced quantities, crude quality reporting, percentage loss/gain analysis and other metrics as required for business improvement in hydrocarbon accounting process
• Significantly reduced production losses by 20% by enforcing standard industry guidelines during product testing and the introduction of project management methodology in the production process.

On this role, I worked cross-functionally with various teams in the company including Engineering, Procurement & Logistics, Finance, Legal & Government relations and Sales and Marketing from construction of the Fuel Retail Station to the daily management of the station. I served as Project Support providing assistance during the construction phase of the station and ensuring that industry standards are strictly adhered to before proceeding to head the Fuel Station as Manager. I also managed the recruitment of personnel in collaboration with the HR team, and maintenance with project managers and assistants.

• Used insights from collated daily data on station inventory, sales numbers, and market forecasts in improving business processes. This increased sales numbers by 60% and ensured customer retention.
• Improved teamwork by identifying and administering essential training required to keep my team motivated and confident to meet and exceed set targets.

• Rendered technical support as Quality Assurance Officer in charge of marine cargo operations across various terminals on petroleum products such as PMS, AGO, DPK, Condensates and Crude Oil
• Perform Volumetric Analysis of petroleum products, fiscalisation, and reconciliation of shipboard and storage tank loaded quantities
• Managed vessel charter negotiations and nominated vessel inspection to ascertain quality standards in bid tendering processes
• Successfully maintained ethical custody transfer operations and ensured strict adherence to processes.

• Conducted verification and supervised calibration of flow meters used in trading LNG, LPG, and Condensate products on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment in NLNG Bonny
• Supervised quality assurance tests for LNG, LPG, and condensate products on behalf of the Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment in NLNG Bonny
• Ministry Representative for all operational activities at the NLNG Bonny terminal, managing good working relationship between the Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment and the NLNG
• Performed daily on-field analysis and generated technical reports including hydrocarbon accounting of oil and gas derivatives at the NLNG Bonny Terminal.
