Fabrication and welding of sheep yards during downtime due to moisture and rainfall. Header driver New Holland 10.90 and 90.90 40ft mac don fronts.

Ensured all header settings were correctly adjusted to reduce losses and ensure a clean grain sample.

Pre harvest prep: assisted with the set up of new Machinery and general yard work

Harvest: CaseIH 8250 with front tracks and 60ft MidWest front, leading my respective team of 4 headers alongside a team of 3 headers with 45ft fronts. Tasked with training inexperienced operators with the general operation of headers and header maintenance.

Shifts and maintenance routine remained the same as the previous year.

Various late model John Deere tractors, Case Steigers for laser bucketing.

Cotton Harvest - John Deere cotton pockets and strippers.

Fabrication and welding work to create weirs for irrigation system.

Implements: Roller, Gessner, Deep Ripper, Medium Ripper, offset discs, front end loader, drag bucket, grader board, mulcher, laser bucket, row puller, excavator, backo, and cotton picker.

Case 8240 header, 45ft flex front.

Shifts were 12h, having day/night teams which would alternate throughout the season.

Supervising over a team of eight headers and four chaser bins.

Maintenance would take place at the end of the night shift - beginning of day shift where one person would blow down all the headers while the rest of the team would grease, change knives, fuel up, check the levels and assist the workshop with major repairs.
